The short version: Atlas doesn't collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device, or in your own private iCloud account if you turn on sync. We don't have a server, we don't run analytics, and we don't see your financial information — ever.
None. Atlas does not operate any servers and does not collect, transmit, or have access to any information you enter — account balances, transactions, bills, debts, goals, or your name. There is no account creation, no sign-up, and no email address required to use the app.
If you enable the app lock, Atlas uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to verify your identity using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. This authentication happens entirely on your device via Apple's system frameworks — Atlas never receives, stores, or transmits any biometric data.
Bill and cash-flow alerts are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device using Apple's local notification system. No data is sent to any server to generate these reminders.
Atlas does not currently connect to bank accounts. If bank-linking is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that feature is released to clearly disclose what data would be involved and how it would be handled.
Atlas contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Atlas is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the fact that we do not collect information from anyone.
If Atlas's data practices change — for example, if bank-linking or a cloud backend is introduced — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision.
